Description

Press release from Public Library of Brookline: January 14, 2022 Effective Tuesday, January 18 2022, all Brookline Libraries will be returning to a contactless pick-up model. Your holds are still available to you any time during regular library hours, no appointment necessary. Here's how it works: Reserve materials yourself through our online catalog or call 617-730-2370 ext. 3 for assistance from a librarian. Wait for email confirmation that your items are ready for pick-up, then come to the Library. All patrons over 2 years of age must wear a mask or face covering over their nose and mouth, regardless of vaccination or testing status. Tell your name to the staff member at the doors. Staff will retrieve your materials off our holds shelf and check them out for you. If you're homebound or unable to wear a mask, contact Mutual Aid Brookline to pick up your library materials for you. In addition to holds pick-up, book bundles of popular picture books, easy readers, and tween, teen, and adult fiction materials will be available for check-out on-demand at all Library locations. View our events calendar for our latest virtual programs, including storytimes, book clubs, and more. All patrons may print up to 10 black and white pages per day free of charge. Email your .PDF, .JPG, or .PNG files as attachments to [email protected]. Need help converting to a PDF? Give us a call at 617-730-2370×3. Visit any Brookline Library location within 12 hours of your submission. Provide the file name(s) and email address of your print jobs to a staff member at the door. Submit a design for our ideaSPACE Team to laser cut or 3D print via our online ideaSPACE Fabrication Form! We just charge for the cost of the materials used.
