Press release from the City of Gig Harbor: January 13, 2022 Beginning Saturday, January 15th the City of Gig Harbor Community Paddler's Dock project, located at Ancich Park, will be beginning on-site work. The City's contractor, American Construction, will be mobilizing to the site to begin demolition of the old Jerkovich float system, mitigation, and pile driving work. This work is tidal dependent and will require the contractor to work some overnight shifts. The demolition, mitigation, and pile driving work is anticipated to last through January 30, 2022. During this time the Contractor will possibly be working seven days a week to complete all in-water work by the permit deadline. This press release was produced by the City of Gig Harbor.
