Description

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Prince George's County's Department of Public Works and Transportation will continue to pretreat primary and major collector roadways across the county. AccuWeather predicts snow will arrive around 1 p.m. Sunday should end after 1 p.m. Monday. "We would like to remind residents to stay off the roads during inclement weather if possible and to not abandon their vehicles," Acting Director Martin L. Harris said. Residents are reminded to park on the same side of the street to ensure accessibility for the snowplows. During winter events, routes are prioritized for service by the following categories: primary, secondary and residential. Residents are asked to wait 48 hours after the snowfall has ended before reporting concerns regarding untreated roadways to 3-1-1.
