Here are the top three stories today in Colorado Springs: The Colorado Springs Police Department has launched their third annual Valentine's Day Contest, which is open to any child ages three to 10-years-old in the community. The department is asking the public to make their most creative homemade Valentine's Day Card for a police officer. This year's winner will get Lieutenant Flash and will be delivered to the winner's home with a special police escort. (KKTV 11 News) Two thieves were caught on camera stealing a hot tub from a Colorado Springs business. At least two men stole the hot tub from Backyards & Billiards, according to video footage which shows the men placing the hot tub on a trailer that was hooked up to a white truck. On Jan. 12, the vehicle and the trailer were spotted on Judge Orr Road near Stapleton Road around 11:30 a.m. (FOX21News.com)Plans to move the Garden of the Gods landmark sign to a new location have been announced. The new location, just north of Gateway Road along Foothills Trail, will allow smoother traffic flow through the area, along with entering and exiting the park, and safer access for people taking photos and videos. It has not been determined when the sign will be removed.
