Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 01/14/2022 3:15 PM For Immediate Release For Immediate Release Kendall County Sheriff's Office Hires Three New Patrol Deputies Kendall County Sheriff's Office Hires Three New Patrol Deputies Kendall County Sheriff's Office Hires Three New Patrol Deputies     Kendall County, IL (January 14, 2021, 3:15 PM) The Kendall County Sheriff's Office has hired three new deputies to fill vacancies in the Patrol Division. Paris Kelley, Ben Batarseh, and Glen Parker were sworn in on Thursday, January 13th, 2021 by Sheriff Dwight Baird. Deputy Kelley studied English at Texas A&M University and worked at the Harris County Sheriff's Office in Texas for nearly three years before joining the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.  Deputy Batarseh studied at Heritage College and worked at the Moody Bible Institute as a police officer before joining the Kendal County Sheriff's Office.  Deputy Parker studied Criminal Justice at Illinois Central College and Law Enforcement and Justice Administration at Western Illinois University.  Deputy Parker worked at the Federal Bureau of Prisons for 15 years ultimately achieving the rank of Lieutenant while working at numerous facilities across the country before joining the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.  Deputy Parker also served as a Military Police Officer in the US Army National Guard from 2003 to 2009.   Deputies Kelley and Parker will be attending the Basic Police Training Academy beginning Sunday, January 16th for 14 weeks.
