12 Ira Jones Middle Schoolers Will Sing In All-State Chorus

PLAINFIELD, IL — Two dozen Ira Jones Middle School students are gearing up to travel to Peoria at the end of the month to participate in the 2022 Illinois Music Education Association Elementary All-State Chorus. The chorus, comprised of fifth and sixth graders who were nominated by their instructors, will rehearse and perform at the Peoria Civic Center, 101 Mariner Way, Jan. 29. During the one-day event, students will rehearse before their performance, held in conjunction with the Illinois Music Education Association's state conference and all-state student programs for high school students. The following are the Ira Jones choir students, directed at the school by Karen Blair, performing in the upcoming concert.
