NAPERVILLE, IL — Naperville police doled out nearly 50 traffic tickets in a recent crackdown that took place during the winter holiday season. The following citations were issued between Dec. 18 and Jan. 3: 34 safety belt citations Two citations for driving with no license or a license that has been suspended or revokedEight speeding citations Two aggravated speeding citations Two citations for distracted driving During this most recent traffic enforcement campaign, Naperville police increased patrols during late-night hours, when fatalities are more likely to occur due to impaired driving or driving without a seatbelt, the police department said in a Tweet.
