JOLIET, IL— A 52-year-old Lockport man was arrested by Joliet police Thursday afternoon after police say he stole two expensive tools from the Menards store at 2524 W. Jefferson St. On Friday, Jeffrey Stucke remained in the Will County Jail facing felony charges of retail theft. According to police, Joliet officers were called to the Menards at 2 p.m. Thursday for a theft. "Officers determined that Stucke had selected two drills from the shelf and then exited the store without paying for them. Officers located Stucke in the parking lot with the merchandise and he was placed into custody without incident," police reports show. Stucke lives in the 600 block of Oak Street, jail records indicate.
