Press release from the City of Champaign: January 13, 2022 On January 12, the Champaign County Community Coalition hosted their monthly meeting via Zoom. Law enforcement leadership from Champaign, Urbana, the Sheriff's Dept., and U of I and Parkland Police Depts. shared updates regarding community violence as well as community engagement initiatives like Shop With A Cop. There were also community updates from LIFT Champaign program, Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club, and the U of I's Director of Community Development and Engagement.
