BURR RIDGE, IL — Burr Ridge police issued a rare alert about 2:30 a.m. Friday about a man they called suspicious. According to the notification, Burr Ridge police and several agencies were searching the area of Meadowbrook Drive for the man. He was reported as fleeing from Oak Brook police. The man was last seen attempting to break into a vacant house in the 8500 block of Meadowbrook Drive, police said. Officers were searching the area with the assistance of a dog, the alert said. Police advised residents not to let anyone in their houses.
