Join our growing team! Pittsburgh Junk Company is a new and growing junk removal company, based in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. We service all of Allegheny County and more. Whenever possible we will donate or recycle all junk because we like the planet. Check out our great reviews on Google! What you will do: Meet new people every day! Fresh air and exercise! A typical day will include visits to customers’ homes, removing unwanted items (furniture, household items, yard waste, construction debris, etc), and recycling them, donating them to charities, or disposing of them at the appropriate junk yard. You’ll work with other team members in our new dump truck! At times, you may be asked to do guerilla marketing tasks (door hangers, flyers, etc). Competitive compensation: $20-$25 with paid training plus tips and bonuses Flexible scheduling: Full-Time and Part-Time Available Qualifications & Requirements: Eligible to work in the United States. Must be able to pass a federal background check. Valid drivers license & clean driving record (past 2 years) Excellent customer service skills Reliable transportation to and from work Able to lift 50lbs+ repeatedly throughout an 8hr+ shift Drug and alcohol-free on the worksite Ideal Candidates: Polite and professional, able to speak with customers Enjoys working on a team (will always be working in teams of 2+) Previous general labor, customer service, sales or driving experience a plus. CDL Not Required We take COVID safety seriously. All team members must be willing to wear a mask when requested. If you’re not vaccinated, you must wear a mask during your entire workday.
