Of course America is not a Christian Nation. I was brought up to believe the great melting pot that was America. So many different cultures, so many different religions, othodox and unorthodox, Greek Town, Mexican village, Hamtramic, the westside, different communities living together. I was Detroit born and raised, in a mixed neighborhood off 8 mile. The Ilse of Style, the Ave of Fashion. However, America is built on Jedeo -Christian influences and laws brought together from different religions and thousands of years of understanding. Hard to believe I'm actually lecturing a so called vet in the fine points of our Country.. As the motto goes "In God we trust." Should it matter which religion??? And, not surprisingly, it is the Democrat Nation Committee who voted God off their platform, not once - but twice. So, you're right, /there is no God fearing Democrats. It's against their platform. So travel forth, troubled child. Your demons are not here, they're all in your head. I hope this gets in before that damned flagot attacks again.
