Actually my comment about your sentence struct was genuine. Only about 50% of Americans can write at a 10th grade level or higher. I have a friend who has a college degree and at best he writes on an 8th grade level. Any way, it seems someone decided to flag my last post, but not yours, so I assume they support your views, and do not support my right to free speech that did not violate the CL TOU. The point about my reply was to try and show how problems we have today, may have started years or decades ago. Biden is an excellent example, but so are Trump, Obama, Nixon and Eisenhower. For instance, your cute picture about energy independence may have finally happened under Trump, but he had nothing to do with it. I know Trump took credit in 2019 for producing over 100% of the oil we need, and he gave himself credit for removing the President Carter 1978 embargo on the USA exporting crude oil. The catch is Obama is who removed that embargo in December of 2015, to try and help the oil producers here due to the Saudis' destroying their production in 2014 and 15 by flooding the market with cheap oil. Due to the oil embargo being gone producers here slowly ramped up production in 2016, and more in 17, and by 2019 they were producing about 104% of the oil we need, aka, independence from foreign oil. And Trump had nothing to do with it. Keep in mind the first XL pipe line from Canada to Nebraska was opened in 2010. So maybe Bush should get credit. Also we were still importing 20% of the oil we use. But that's another post. Sure, Biden is a disgrace, he is everything that has been wrong with politics the last 5 decades. The problem is so many low information voters believe everything magically changes on January 20 every 4 or 8 years based on if their favorite party gets the White House. That is not true. All the economic factors today that have led us to the inflation we see now, all started 10 years ago. Maybe you remember the recession of 2007 thru 09? Publicly Republicans and the TV propogandist condemned Obama every step of the way for his budget deficits, even though every one of them also included paying the Bush Police Action in Afghanistan. Obama did waste money on things like Shovel Ready Jobs, and Cash for Clunkers, but republicans also got their pork spending. Look at the way Biden was fully blamed for the mess in Afghanistan when we pulled out last August. I have heard Hannity go on for hours about what a mess Biden caused, but not once has he mentioned Biden was just keeping Trumps deal with the Taliban to be out by May. But due to stricter Visa requirements the Trump Administration added in 2020, Biden extended the deal another 3 months so people who could leave, would have more time to get a Visa. We wasted $3 trillion in Afghanistan since 2002 to get rid of the Taliban, and Trump ended up making a deal with them that Biden lived up to. Maybe regardless of party, we should agree to stop using our military to be the World Police? Yes, there are some big problems we have now Biden will probably make worse, but until people like you start holding your favorite party to the same standards you hold the other party to, nothing will ever change, and our congressmen know it.
