Construction driver

Description

General contractor looking to hire a driver for our Isuzu NPR dump truck (automatic transmission 14,500 GVW) for local dump runs in south Snohomish county and King County. This position would also involve deliveries to jobsites and shop assistant responsibilities (maintaining shop and vehicles). Qualified applicants must: • Be capable of heavy lifting/loading/shoveling (50 lbs on a regular basis up to 100 lbs) • Be honest, trustworthy, independent, reliable, and hard-working • No CDL required but you will need a clean driving record as well as pass criminal background check and meet insurance requirements • Be mechanically inclined (able to make small repairs on the truck and/or shop equipment) • Be drug, alcohol, and tobacco free • Work well with others and on your own • Bilingual a plus - But you must be able to verbally communicate with coworkers, management, and customers as well as understand written/printed communication in English Requirements: • Pre-employment drug screening is required. • Must provide a current Motor Vehicle Record • Valid driver's license is required • Must be minimum age of 25 to drive company vehicles • Shifts can be 8-10 hours/day, starting at 7:00 am.
