Below is listed some of the areas and skills we look for in a machine builder. If one or more of these areas describe you, apply now. • Fabrication o Operate metal working machines (shear press, break press, saws, etc.). o Drill and tap holes with precision. o Operate mills, drill presses and other machining equipment. o Weld steel equipment according to prints. o Inspect equipment for accuracy and functionality. • Assembly o Mounting gearmotors, chains, sprockets, shafts, and bearings. o Knowledge and skills in pneumatics. o Test equipment for proper functionality. o Attention to detail and accuracy. • Electrical o Build electrical cabinets and junction boxes according to prints. o Run wires on individual pieces of equipment and throughout a system. o Terminate wires in junction boxes and cabinets. o Keen eye for orderliness and detail.
