My husband & I are looking for a Live-In, Permanent Long-Term position Preferred BUT we can also work with someone for a 5-6 Month Position as well. We are 2 full-time working older adults, living with my mother-in-law who is 85 with Alzheimers. We also have 1 older small very friendly dog so you must also like animals. We live in a large fairly new home in Westbury Long Island on a quiet residential block. We are looking for someone who will be able to run the household & take care of my mother in law. This includes to be a companion to her during the day, make sure that she eats, bathes, dresses, take her for a walk around the block maybe once a day weather permitting, as well as taking care of the entire household chores of cooking, cleaning, laundry, organization etc. We are looking for our live in to work 6 days a week Monday through Saturday & Sundays off or work 7 days Mon-Sun if you prefer. We do travel a couple of times a year at which point we would need you to work 7 days a week but you would be compensated for the additional time. You will get a Private Room & board which are included as part of compensation with payment of $600-700 cash per week depending on the number of days worked. This is not an hourly job. You would have your own room, TV & Wifi. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and will be holding daily interviews until we find the right person. Please dont waste our time or yours if you cannot work at least 6 days a week or are looking for higher compensation. We are looking for a Clean, Energetic, Organized, and mature Woman for this position. No Men sorry, my mother in law needs assistance bathing & so we cannot have a man with her. No Smoking, No Drugs. No Guests. This is a Live in position which requires overnight stay! My mother in law sometimes gets up in the middle of the night and needs to be put back to bed.
