Pilatus is hiring for a Logistics & Supply Coordinator Apprentice. This role will split their time between the Parts Warehouse and Purchasing Department. Over the course of the program, the apprentice will perform a variety of warehouse duties, including but not limited to the receiving and inspection of incoming merchandise or materials, inventory control, packing, crating, and shipment of materials. Additionally in Purchasing the apprentice will place orders and coordinate the delivery of aircraft parts and materials, assist with audits, cycle counts, and provide follow-up to both internal and external customers as needed. An apprenticeship at Pilatus will open the door to a wide choice of career opportunities. This dual-track model allows for both work-based and classroom-based instruction. The program starts in July 2022 and the duration is 2 years. Apprentices are eligible to earn a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship from the U.S. Department of Labor. Apprentice Salary & Start Date This position will start in July 2022 with a pay rate of $14.00 an hour to start per the program guidelines. Essential Duties/Responsibilities - Learn how to provide first-class service & inventory control to our award-winning product support network within North & South America - Develop an understanding of how to create and manage domestic and international transport as well as the decision-making process behind each - Provide internal support & supply production materials to our completion center - Gain knowledge and skills needed for entry-level supply chain management - Learn basic purchasing tasks related to customer support and internal operations - Assist with coordinating the delivery of parts and materials according to the production schedule, customer orders, and vendor contracts - Learn about all of the activities involved in the identification, acquisition, and distribution of goods Skills/Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent - Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail - Patience to learn new skills in an on-the-job training environment - Ability to lift and lower packages of 50 lbs. in weight - Must qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.15 What We Offer - Paid tuition, class fees, and books when taking technical based classes or approved programs for the entire program - 11 paid holidays a year, plus 2 weeks of paid vacation time, and 1 week of paid personal time to start with an increase to 3 weeks of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus - 90% of medical, dental, and vision premiums paid for single coverage and 80% for family coverage, averaging $9,600 annually - Monthly health savings account (HSA) contributions totaling $2,250 for single coverage and $3,000 for family coverage annually - 401(k) retirement plan matching up to 6% - Life and long-term disability insurance premiums paid in full Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd was founded in Broomfield, Colorado in 1996.
