Northland Foods, Inc.- Poplar, WI Regional CDL Truck Driver Position- Class A We are looking for a regional licensed CDL driver. You must be able to provide a valid CDL license and a clean driving record. Routes start in Poplar Wi and span over the U.P. of Michigan, Eastern North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Loads are primarily carrying grocery goods to retail grocery stores, along with other delivery responsibilities. Responsibilities • Transport goods to and from Poplar Wisconsin to retail and distribution centers • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance(Pre and Post trip inspections) • Meet delivery schedules • Document, using E-Logs, log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures • Report defects, accidents or violations Requirements • Proven work experience as a truck driver • Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (EDL ***This is not required but is sought after***) • Ability to drive and travel regularly- Up to 14 hours a day- 4 days per week(Following all mandatory D.O.T. drivers laws) • Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations • No recent moving or driving violations • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) • Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations Additional • Valid Class A commercial license • 350 Mile radius from Poplar Wi • Benefits include: Excellent hourly pay rate, 401K, Paid Holidays, Paid Personal Holidays, Time and ½ after 40 Hours • Meal Reimbursements (if layover is required) • Cell Phone Reimbursements.
