Hello All. I'm a recent transplant here from SoCal. I am a degreed Jazz Pianist but I enjoy playing most styles, parts, arrangements (horns, strings, lead, clav, organ, synth, etc) I have a working song list of hundreds of songs that I will post soon. I was playing casinos, cruise ships, restaurants, churches (baptist mostly), Hotels (solo piano) variety bands, wedding bands, salsa bands, Cumbia, Mexican Rock, Norteno, country bands, NeoSoul, R&B, Disco, Classic Rock, Prog Rock, Yacht Rock. Most of my pre-pandemic weekly gigs were duo gigs with pro singers. I have references from top SoCal/Baja California musicians and agencies. My favorite non-jazz artists are Stevie Wonder, Donnie Hathaway, Ray Charles, Bill Withers, BeeGees, Talking Heads, Earth Wind and Fire, Bonnie Raitt, Steely Dan, Sting, Dr. John, Jamiroquai, Amy Winehouse.. this will take forever. I listen to everything except thrashcore but I do love NIN and synth music. Billie and FINNEAS Eilish soundscapes are something I want to start creating to mix things up. I sing lead and backing vocals. I program beats, create midi files, karaoke tracks, and "live tracks". I play left-hand bass so if your band needs a bassist I can do that AND play parts with my right hand. Gear: For gigging I have high-end cables of every size and type, mixers, mics, stands, QSC 8 and 10-inch modern speakers, Nord Piano 3, Tyros 3, Roland Juno, and FP7. Other backup boards I use mostly to practice with but they are good enough. Reliable transport. Completely drug-free. I don't even drink. I will invest in start-up/indy music if there is talent business acumen and momentum but for the moment I'd like to join or sub for working bands, (casinos, clubs, private, corporate, and weddings). I learn material very quickly and sight-read anything but I prefer to memorize songs before performances. Call me or email me. I'd like to stay entirely apolitical and play with musicians that don't force political issues on me. That is a dead-end for me.
