Sweet old Pitty girl needs home URGENTLY

Hey all, I have a sweet Pitty girl. She's 8 years old. We rescued her about a year ago. Our "friend" fell in love with her and insisted on taking her. All was well, until he showed up at our door demanding we take her because he was moving and couldn't take her with him. He put her in our yard (in the snow), dropped her food on our step, and threatened to harm her if we didn't take her. Needless to say, she's safe in our house. Here's the problem. She doesn't like our cat and the feelings are mutual. We also have kittens that are waiting for their new owners to beat covid before they can go home, and she isn't a fan of them. It's an all out war in my house now. He left her in bad shape. Her nails are extremely long and I've been picking ticks off her. She is such a sweet girl. She loves sitting on laps. She just deserves a home to live out her last years as best as she can. If we had time to prepare, we would have been able to keep her but he dumped her here and we're at a loss.
