This has got to be the most disturbing thing a complex can do. I returned home on the 12th of January 2022 only to find my house key would not turn. I look at the door to ensure I was at the right place. My rent was paid a week prior to this for the current month. No other fees were on my account, so I knew this was not happening. I had to quickly find a locksmith and a bathroom. After finding a locksmith who quoted me a reasonable fee,came and simply opened the door. Although I was quoted around $70, it doubled after he arrived. I still could not get a key or lock without paying him about $200 total. Plus whoever did this had the lock to my door. My safety was an issue, no doubt. The worse thing about all of it, was maintenance. I talked to a small man. After explaining to him about my locks being changed, he shrugged his shoulders and told me it was not an emergency and would not help. Nor, did he. If this was his place, he certainly would have tried something. My one bedroom has no washer/dryer hook-up, no dishwasher, no control of air or heat an no maintenance or anyone in the office.
