About Us - Here at Instant Landscaping, we are a bulk landscape supply company. We stock a variety of material including bark mulch, gravel, soil, drain rock, hardscape, and sod. We are looking for a positive hard worker who can deal with a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of tasks. Seeking - Primary focus will be operating front end loaders and forklifts to load trucks and trailers. Although a Commercial Driver’s License is not required, we would require that you be trained to operate and make deliveries in our smaller pickup sized dump trucks. Forklift training will be provided. We are willing to train for a CDL if desired. It is our company goal to assist non CDL employees in studying, testing, and completion of Class A and Class B CDL Endorsements. Secondary tasks required on occasion include answering phones, running a cash register, assisting customers, loading customers by hand with bagged material (up to 90 lbs). Candidates must be willing to be educated on agricultural information to help assist customers with their landscape projects. Helping in the office and around the property is part of the position. Primary and Secondary tasks do not cover the full scope of job requirements. There are many tasks within the company that everyone must take part in. Requirements - SATURDAYS ARE REQUIRED DURING BUSY SEASON (MAR-SEP) Valid Oregon Driver’s License Less than two violations in the last year. Takes Initiative Ability to lift and carry 90 lbs Clear Communicator Basic Math Skills Basic Computer Skills Safety oriented Ability to take instruction Ability to follow directions Maintain clean professional appearance POSITIVE ATTITUDE Compensation - Pays $17.00 - $19.00, Applicants willing to work yard and train for CDL $18.00 - $20.00+ Negotiable depending upon experience. We are willing to train in all aspects of the position. Advancement available depending upon performance.
