Please, Read!!! Do NOT buy a used wig!!! Dude! Used wigs are disgusting!!! You can get LICE and other parasites! See the photos and do some research! Use some common sense! ----------------------- ORIGINAL POST BELOW I'm over 50 and shave my head. I may be old but I still ROCK! Unfortunately, the bands getting the high paying gigs ( $50 - $125 per show ) require a " Rock Star " look, and prefer younger musicians. With the right wig, and some make-up, I think I can pass for someone in their 40s. I don't want a cheap Halloween Wig which might come off during auditions / gigs. I need a wig that will stay in place when sweating... I sweat a lot due to " stage fright ", and side effects from prescription drugs for memory issues and " black outs ". I looked online and was shocked at how much a good quality wig costs! I can't afford to spend $300.00 on a wig!!! Like I said, the " high paying " gigs pay $50 - $125 per show. Even with my social security check, and retirement money I can barely afford strings and picks! Is there a place I can find a used long hair wig for a decent price. I have checked Goodwill, and they only have " Short Hair " wigs! I don't check my email very often so please post your suggestions in the Craigslist Musicians forum. Also, can you catch any sickness or disease from wearing a used wig? Thanks and keep on rocking!!!
