Our company is looking to hire a field technician for an ever-growing Geotechnical Engineering company in Downtown Vancouver. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, independent thinker and interested in the field of engineering, building and/or construction. This position will require travel to job sites to work with contractors, sometimes digging test locations, using testing equipment in all weather. Office work will consist of writing field reports, working in a soils lab from time to time. We will provide all safety equipment and training on the job. Use of personal vehicle will be required but you would be reimbursed for mileage and travel time. If you like working outside, are interested in construction and are a motivated and independent worker this position might be for you. Position requires adherence to our company's Covid policy - candidate must be vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated (unless there is a valid medical exception).
