Copper is a super sweet dog who loves his food and attention. We have several young children in our house (with another on the way) and as a result he is constantly stressed out about them pulling his tail or stepping on his feet. Over time he has begun to show some signs of grouchy-ness towards them. We made the difficult decision to try to let him live somewhere where he can lay around in peace like he wants to do. That being said, he should not go to a home with small children or probably other large dogs without a careful introduction. He can be slow-to-warm with strangers, but after a few minutes he wants nothing more than your undivided attention. He loves to hike or walk, and also loves to sleep and eat. He doesn’t bark much, doesn’t chew things, sleeps in his dog bed, and always eats any food offered to him. Please contact me with any questions, I want him to go to a good home.
