Are you a handyman, detail oriented, have leadership skills, can you drive a truck, great we want you!! We are an event company and are looking for per diem(per day) helpers for upcoming events. We will train you initially to do setups for events. SKILLS YOU MUST HAVE! - COMMON SENSE - BE HANDY WITH POWER TOOLS - BE PUNCTUAL - KNOW HOW TO WORK UNDER PRESSURE - HAVE AN EYE FOR DETAILS - HAVE LEADERSHIP SKILLS - HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE The job consists of setting up backdrops and flowers for events. Putting structures together at venues. We will train you initially. The training will be UNPAID, in Farmingdale NY warehouse. Training will be 5-7 days over 2 weeks. You will finish a setup by yourself on the last day (with helpers under your supervision). Once you show us that you can do the job we will give you start you with 10 dates for events. Think of this as a roadie job where you will help unload a truck and help in placing items in a venue and then help dismantle everything at the end of the night and help load it back in the truck. Depending on jobs you will work for 2-4 hours continuously followed by 4-5 hr break and 2-3 hour work again. We will train and if you like the job you can apply for our designer position.
