Are you lost with Nursing or Pre-Med classes in school? Are you needing A’s to get in? Is your high schooler having difficulty with Anatomy or Physiology? Struggling with Pharmacy Technician Certification/schooling? My name is Misty Khalifa, and I am your answer. I am reopening availability for in-person instruction (5mi from 80134 zip code) or virtual (zoom/FaceTime) anywhere in the US. I am a firm believer that the teacher should adapt to the student’s learning style. My patience is long, and I am fully capable of integrating instruction to however you learn best, I have studied and applied learning techniques in depth as well. My fee is $40/hr and I am available for daily, weekly or test prep. I am flexible with the hourly rate for ongoing daily and weekly bookings. Teaching is very much my passion! My education includes: BA in PolySci at Universidad de Salamanca, BS (Biology) and BSN (Nursing) both from Indiana University and MSN/NP (Critical Care Nursing-Surgical ICU Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner) at Ball State University. Experience includes: six years tutoring high school and college level, four years as an Anatomy instructor (lecture and lab) at Indiana University, fifteen years surgical ICU hands on experience, five years certified pharmacy technician (inpatient and outpatient). My GPA only dropped once from 4.0 to 3.97, yes I received one A- and none of my A+’s would counteract it, but it doesn’t bother me at all after all these years…not at all, lol.
