Hey, I'm a guitarist, I've been developing a body of ideas for original music and I'm seeking collaborators: instrumentalists and voices. Below is a link to a playlist, the first 8 tracks are all solo guitar performances and what I see as the blueprints to songs - influenced from afro-blues, latin folkloric, appalachian/americana, psychedelic indie rock...all very groove oriented, but also with pop song structures as well. I love exploring the idea of folk music as dance/trance music - how polyrhythmic folkloric dance music contains the seeds of modern bass and drum music. And overall I bring a fairly minimalist aesthetic, from a love of 70s dub, krautrock, etc. I like a mix of acoustic and electric instruments. I like fun music.
