Under Trump the VA was cut by $156 billion (USD) in both medical and monetary benefits for deserving veterans. In 2017 Congress had appropriated $5.2 million (USD) for suicide prevention programs for veterans. His administration spent only $600 thousand (USD) on this important VA mission. During that period, Veteran suicide exploded to a point where today they average 22 per day. Of course everyone remembers "why should I go, they're all suckers and losers."
