Description
In the State of California you can become a Licensed Vocational Nurse without going to a LVN School by challenging the State Boards. I did this & I've uploaded my notes and study material.

Self tests, drills, practice:
Here, look under 'Qualifying Methods':
You WILL have to go to a Community College and take Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, and a SPECIAL Pharmacology course that is FOR LVNS (2 unit, not 3).
You WILL need to work in a real hospital on an acute care floor. Not a sub acute floor, not a SNF, not in an ER.
Males can skip the OB requirement and substitute ICU exp. w/pts w/specific issues.
Peds exp. can be trimmed w/a Childhood Dev. class at a college.
