Tired of sitting on a forklift all day? Looking for a job that keeps you moving and doing different things? This job may be for you. We sell building materials (lumber and composite decking mostly). You will assemble orders, load them on the truck, and deliver them. This is a full time permanent position. Weekdays 8-4. No weekends. Your duties will include: Heavy lifting is required. You will work inside (building loads, driving, etc.)and outside (loading and unloading trucks) in all kinds of weather. Operating a forklift with materials up to 20' long. Our warehouse is small Loading and unloading trucks Sorting and organizing product and paperwork Assembling orders to prepare for delivery (bunking and banding it for delivery) Delivery in our non-CDL trucks Maintaining stock Experience operating a forklift is required, and experience handling lumber is a bonus. Good driving record is essential. I would also consider part-time employment (if that is your preference) for the right person. We are a small company, and you will be a vital employee.
