Barnstable County Dredging Department operates two dredges maintaining the channels on the Cape is seeking to fill a full-time Deckhand position for the maintenance work and labor in the performance of the dredging operation and associated dredging related work. Successful candidates will have a high school education and 2 to 4 years’ experience in a marine environment; marine construction experience desirable. Experience operating a Skid Steer, Front End Loader and or an Excavator is preferred and small boat handling is required. Must be able to pass a post offer physical exam.
