Our New York City based real estate and nightclub management company is currently seeking an experienced superintendent / handyman. We own and operate a portfolio of walk up properties and nightclubs in Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn. The Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience relating to superintendent and handyman duties in residential rental properties. We are seeking a “jack of all trades” type who can handle the following below… -Plumbing knowledge -Sprinkler knowledge. -Fire alarm knowledge. -Painting / Drywall experience. -Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs. -Daily walkthrough/inspection of all properties -Cleaning and performing touch-ups in the common areas -Handling rubbish removal and recycling -Responding to resident repair/maintenance issues -Oversee maintenance of the buildings HVAC systems. Requirements: -Must be able to respond to emergency calls and or weekend emergency calls. -Proven experience as a skilled handyman. -Good communication ability. -Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, and paint. -Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment. Resident satisfaction is the number one priority and the superintendent must be able to effectively communicate, resolve issues and deliver overall excellent customer service to all residents.
