Nick Mashie Broadsheet Print debut @ the Anderson Join us at The Anderson Miami for a happy hour with Nick Mahshie as we celebrate the release of his vibrant special edition artist broadsheet. Drink specials and fun times! Nick Mahshie, b.1985, Miami, is a textile and print artist who’s work sources tropical ephemera from natural and manufactured surfaces to reflect the sentimental nature embedded in pattern, color, and clothing. Mahshie’s fluid use of fashion design, found objects and printed textiles coalesce to create installations, garments, and art objects that are grounded in the tropical landscape that has shaped his aesthetic sensibilities. Reception: Friday January 28th - 7 pm The Anderson Miami 709 NE 79th St, Miami, FL 33138 EXILE Books is an experimental artist’s bookstore and project space which recently moved to the Little Haiti neighborhood of Miami. We produce publications and site-specific events such as exhibitions, performances, lectures, fairs, and workshops in order to advance circulation and engagement with artist’s publications. EXILE seeks to establish a pervasive print culture in Miami by creating hubs for independent publishing that represent and serve our diverse community.
