Join us for the Main Street Kent Chocolate Walk! Upgrade your ticket to include adult beverage samples and enjoy a day in downtown Kent! On Saturday, Feb. 19, the Main Street Kent Chocolate Walk will take place from 11:30am-5pm in downtown Kent. All ticket holders will be entered in a drawing for the grand prize, sponsored by Squirrel City Jewelers: a Scrumptious Chocolate Diamond with Ruby Accent necklace in Rose Gold, retail value $1,249! A second winner will be chosen to win a TEN pound chocolate bar from Popped! Ticket holders will check in at the Kent State Hotel & Conference Center from 11:30am-1:00pm, with assigned, staggered check-in times, to pick up their Chocolate Walk maps, passes and bags to collect their treats. Several participants will also have chocolate-inspired alcoholic beverage samples available, so purchase the "upgrade" at checkout if you wish. Masks are required for this event, which will be spread out over several blocks in the downtown district. Over twenty-five participating businesses will provide specialty chocolate treats to ticket holders. It’s a great opportunity to get some fresh air, spend time with loved ones, explore, and collect delicious chocolate concoctions! All chocolate treats are donated by participating businesses; event proceeds will benefit Main Street Kent in support of their ongoing efforts to make downtown Kent a fun, vibrant and thriving place! Participants include: Barrio Tacos, Bell Tower Brewing Co., Belleria Pizza & Italian, Bent Tree Coffee, Daisy Pops, Dirty Skate Company, FJ Kluth Art Gallery, GRAZERS, Hall-Green Agency, Hippie Fox Rocks, Hometown Bank, Kent Cycle, Kent State Hotel & Conference Center, Kwench Juice Cafe, McKay Bricker Framing, North Water Brewing Co., Off the Wagon, Popped!, Ray's Place, Squirrel City Jewelers, Standing Rock Cultural Arts/North Water Gallery, Taco Tonto's, Taproot Catering, Tree City Coffee, Troppus Projects, Twisted Meltz, Venice Cafe/Erie Street Kitchen Prize drawing will be held on Monday, Feb. 21. After placing your Chocolate Walk ticket order (before the event occurs) you will receive an email form to submit the names and email addresses of all guests in your party to be entered in the drawing. No physical raffle tickets will be available at event. Please note: The Chocolate Walk is an all-weather event! Tickets are non-refundable, unless Main Street Kent must cancel the event and it is unable to be rescheduled.
