Take an inside look at the science of tasting wine!
Good food engages all of our senses. We love wine for its aromas, its beautiful colors, and of course the way it tastes. But with so many varieties and vintages, describing wine and making sense of those descriptors can be overwhelming. Never fear - we're here to help!
In this workshop, you will:
- learn some of the basic science behind the way we experience food and drink
- participate in hands-on exercises to evaluate the sensory qualities of wine
- taste four different natural wines
- have a lot of fun.
You'll leave the event with a tasting journal and some ideas about how to find more wines you love.
We celebrate local and sustainably produced specialty foods, grown and made by people we know and trust. Good food is for everyone!
