Mosquito Joe of Miami Valley is hiring part-time/full-time, seasonal Application Technicians! We provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, repelling and killing outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, stinging insects (like wasps) and rodents. Our technicians travel to customer homes to apply barrier spray solutions that keep their yard mosquito free for three weeks. We take great pride in our customer service. This seasonal position is from approximately April to October (depending on weather). What Our Technicians Do • Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes. • Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures. • Maintain good customer relationships. • Take personal initiative and responsibility for correcting any problems. Maintain chemical records according to state requirements. • Participate in team meetings. • Complete training requirements. Training is provided. Job Requirements • Basic pest control knowledge and training. (preferred but training provided) • Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weighing approximately 50lbs. (required) • Valid driver’s license (required) • Comfortable driving to customer locations. • Self-confident. • Professional. • Friendly. • Good customer service skills. • Detail oriented. • Reliable. • Willing and able to work flexible hours. (Some Saturdays are required, based upon weather.) • Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service. (Mainly answering potential customer questions when on jobsite or discuss additional services with current customers.) In additional to standard pay, there are potential bonuses based upon performance.
