Mark your calendars to attend MLK VOICE 4 YOUTH Finals & support Delaware’s youth as this year’s finalists compete for the $2,000 1st Prize. Delaware’s courageous high school students speak UP on current issues & compete for cash prizes of: $2,000 first prize; $1,000 2nd prize; & $500 3rd prize. In 2022, MLK VOICE 4 YOUTH will celebrate its 7th year amplifying youth voices & encouraging youth to SPEAK UP in pursuit of change through respect, understanding, and compassion. Reserve Judge: Luis Santiago, Vice President, Bank of America MLK VOICE 4 YOUTH is a statewide, spoken word contest presented by Christ Church Christiana Hundred and the YWCA Delaware that empowers youth. Contestants have creative freedom to convey their powerful messages that reflect Dr. King’s work for social change through nonviolence and share how it speaks to their dreams today.
