Claudia visits a law office to prove her brother's innocence in a murder case, only to discover a long lost love working there... Henry Glory, a door-to-door black salesman, meets and falls in love with Claudia Vance. On his way to her home, hoping to pledge his devotion, Henry is beaten and robbed, never having the opportunity to see Claudia. Three years later, Claudia visits a Washington D.C. law office and discovers that Henry is now a prosperous lawyer. She enlists his aid in proving the innocence of her brother, a night watchman, accused of murdering a white woman. Will they be able to prove the innocence of Claudia’s brother and the guilt of the real killer? And what of Henry and Claudia’s love?
