CLA faculty and colleagues from other areas will gather to dine and discuss the accomplishments of the Faculty Development Center Awardees. The College of Liberal Arts' Centers for Faculty Development provide fellowships that release faculty from teaching for one semester so that they may work full-time on a specific project. They included the Center for Artistic Endeavors, the Center for Humanistic Studies, the Center for Social Sciences, and the Center for Undergraduate Instructional Excellence. CLA has 8 professors to honor for their accomplishments in their respective areas, after having been given the time to do so.
