As Illinois' top cannabis community networking organization, we’re proud to bring together cannabis communities and business leaders to celebrate both their success and the budding opportunities for women in the cannabis industry. Attendees will learn from cannabis business leaders that build awareness for our industry and create jobs to grow our local economies. It’s a can’t-miss to build connections and knowledge within the cannabis industry. Program TBA Call for Speakers! We are looking for speakers to explore the latest equity and advocacy work in the industry, as well as new trends and upcoming opportunities in all facets of the industry. There is no fee to apply. The application deadline is Friday, Feb 11, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. (CST). Testing must be conducted within 72 hours before event start time (both PCR and antigen are acceptable). Results of the test must be available prior to entry into the conference or venue. Illinois Women in Cannabis is comprised of professional and entrepreneurial women in Illinois who are interested in working in the Illinois medical cannabis industry. There are opportunities in this industry for women of diverse backgrounds and interests, including advertising, marketing, law, finance, patient care‐giving and agriculture, throughout the State. IWC connects, educates, mentors and supports Illinois women of all ages and backgrounds in order to maximize their opportunities in the emerging Illinois medical cannabis industry – an industry too new to have a glass ceiling.
