Description

Join us to learn more about your horse's health! Have you ever wondered if you are wrapping your horse's legs correctly? You need to wrap your horse's legs to protect and cover an injured area; provide warmth to stiff/old tendons, ligaments, or fetlocks; control acute-injury swelling and movement; and to protect his legs while trailering hauling. Improperly applied wraps can do a lot of damage. Our instructor, Gabby Potillo, earned her BA in Equine Science with a concentration in Pre-Vet at UNH. She will demonstrate each technique and give you time to practice each technique on your own horse, or you can borrow one of ours to practice on. Limit 8 horse/handler combinations per class.
