Sensory Taste Test several Catawba Brewing beers & compare Catawba beers to other local Wilmington beers: Guess the beers correctly to win! You are invited to join Catawba Brewing Co. for a fun evening competing alongside fellow craft beer lovers. Test your tastebuds in a blind taste test of local brews around the area! This competition will consist of 2 separate heats where you will put your beer knowledge to the test and distinguish which brew is what. Heat 1: Sensory Description. This heat consists of 6 rounds where you will be served a selection of Catawba beers provided by our beertenders. Provide details about the beer such as aroma, mouthfeel, flavor, etc. Finally, guess which beer you believe it to be! Heat 2: Compare several local Wilmington favorite craft beers to a correlating Catawba brew. Do a sensory test of each to help you guess what each of the beers are to score. Collect points for every correct guess to win a $50 gift card to Catawba Brewing Co. along with other merchandise items.
