TAMPA, FL — Tampa police have arrested four male teens for possessing guns, resisting arrest and attempting to flee from police. According to police, during the early morning hours Monday, officers were patrolling Robles Park when they saw a vehicle driving in the neighborhood without a front driver's side headlight. When police attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle speeded away. Officers called on the police helicopter to track the vehicle, which drove to the 6000 block of Broadway Avenue, then began going up and down side streets, trying to get away from police. When the driver drove through the intersection of 26th Avenue East and 66th Street North, it appeared as if several guns were tossed out of the vehicle. The driver then continued to 3201 49th St. N where the four occupants in the vehicle got out and ran to an apartment. Officers and K-9 dogs surrounded the apartment. Police ordered the four people to come out, which they did and were taken into custody. Police said they found two of the guns thrown out of the vehicle. In the vehicle, they found another gun, magazines and ammunition. Among those arrested were two 17-year-olds, Jaqavious Well, 18, and Jaiden Mitchell, 18.
