SARASOTA, FL — A Pensacola man arrested in Georgia faces burglary charges in Sarasota after stealing jewelry worth about $200,000 from a Lincoln Drive home in November, Sarasota police shared on Facebook Tuesday. Stephen Diamond, 52, faces numerous charges in Florida, Alabama and Georgia, police said. On Nov. 23, he entered the Sarasota home between 9 and 10 a.m. and walked out with a safe containing the jewelry. Diamond left the home heading west on Lincoln Drive in what police believe to be a silver BMW X3 with a stolen temporary Georgia tag that reads P2809437.
