Select Board Sets May 2 & 4 As Tewksbury Town Meeting Dates

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's annual and special town meetings will be held May 2 and 4 after the Select Board voted Tuesday to set the dates and open the warrants for both meetings. The annual town meeting will be 7:30 p.m. May 2 at Tewksbury Memorial High School, as set in the town's by-laws. The special town meeting will be 7 p.m. May 4, also at the high school. The warrants for both meetings opened Wednesday and residents have until 4:30 p.m. Feb. 25 to submit warrant articles. Article submissions must have the signatures of 10 registered voters for the annual meeting and 100 voters for the special meeting. >>Read more about town meeting here. In addition to the annual budget, town meeting attendees will likely vote again on a proposed rewrite of the zoning bylaws and map, which proponents are currently revising with public input after it was narrowly defeated in 2021.
