(if thats even a thing…) 4 days down & 1 to go, it's been a long week. The MLK weekend is so near and (you can feel it). Satisfy your hankering to socialize with an evening full of familiar faces, distant hugs and kisses, catching up on who’s doing what with who, and who knows, you might even meet a new cuddle buddy . . . This Sunday, January 16th we’re hosting, Bowlin’ With The Homies, at Brooklyn Bowl Philly in Northern Liberties (next to the Fillmore), a holiday event for a good cause. Do you have an unruly sock drawer?? We all know the simple pleasure of a putting on a fresh pair, but did you know that a person experiencing homelessness receiving clothing from a charitable organization is likely to get everything except socks?? With those sentiments in mind, we want to give back — Bowlin’ With The Homies is a bowling event, a time to reunite with friends and like-minded people while experiencing a delicious menu, great music, and a social atmosphere however this Sunday it's also donation drive. It’s important to remember that many families that go without during holidays. We encourage you to donate travel size toiletries, packs of socks, to make care packages to deliver to the local homeless community. — Assemble your squad, come out and Bowl With The Homies for a good cause!
