Press release from the City of Long Beach: January 11, 2022 Please be advised, sometime between 6:00am-7:00am this morning, freezing temperatures caused a break of a 16" water main on East Broadway between Edwards and Long Beach Blvd. At this time, all residents have water, but discolored water should be expected for the next 2-4 hours over a large swatch of the City (Edwards to Maple Blvd south of Park Avenue) while the break is repaired.
