Description
NORWICH, CT — A fire destroyed a barn and resulted in the death of a calf Tuesday night, according to NBC Connecticut. The blaze broke out at around 10:15 p.m. on Corning Road in Norwich.
Firefighters arrived to find a fully involved fire at a 100-by-300-foot barn. Family members managed to remove most of the animals from the barn, but a calf died, NBC Connecticut reported.
The fire was extinguished by 2 a.m.
The farm was a complete loss.
