Please join us for Forge's Gardening in partnership with BBG and Alabama Extensions! New Beginnings and Pollinator Plants with Forge At February's class, participants will learn about healthy new beginnings with trainer and published author, Cynthia E. Rodgers. Participants will learn about planting pollinator plants from a Master Gardener. Forge will provide all supplies, but if you have a favorite seed starter tray, feel free to bring it with you! Hosted by Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center, Alabama Cooperative Extension System, and Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Forge's gardening classes are for anyone who has ever been diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as their loved ones and the healthcare professionals that serve them. Please note: This event will be held in person at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens . Please follow the Forge signs or check in with the front desk for specific directions to the room. Current COVID-19 guidelines from the City of Birmingham's Park & Recreation Department require social distancing and masks to be worn indoors by all vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals while visiting a city-owned venue. If guidelines change before the date of the event, Forge will provide an update. Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center (Forge) offers support knowledge, strength, and direction to all those touched by breast cancer. Forge's classes are for anyone who has ever been diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as their loved ones and the healthcare professionals that serve them.
